| Description | While proceeding with the construction & equipping of an airplanes catering unit at Hurghada Airport under L.E. 7 million investments, scheduled to start operation next May 2005, Egypt Air Co. for Flight Services has announced another new L.E. 21 million airplanes catering unit at Sharm El Sheikh Airport. According to Gen. Salah Al Werdani, Chairman of the company, the new project would occupy 2,500 M2 land and is scheduled to start operation early in 2006. While construction costs are put at L.E. 16 million, further L.E. 5 million costs are budgeted for equipping works. Interesting is that those catering units also serve Egypt Air Cafeterias at those airports. Gen. Al Werdani has revealed that the company gross revenues during FY 2003/ 2004 reached L.E. 207 million, of which L.E. 82 million net profits before taxes were posted. |
