Chairman & CEO of the Dubai based Eemar Group, Mr. Mohamed Al Abbar, revealed recently that the group is proceeding with $ 1 billion real estate development project in Egypt. Eemar Group is now capitalized at DH 2,835 million and has posted for the year 2004 net profits exceeding DH 1.65 billion (about $ 440 million) marking 50 % growth above their level in 2003. Other media reports revealed that the group is eyeing the development of a 4 million M2 land on Al Moqattam hill to implement its project thereon, yet facing competition from other Egyptian, Arab & foreign investors. |
