| Description | According to Dr. Eng. Hassan Younis, Egypt Ministry of Electricity & Energy some L.E. 1,131 million funds were endorsed in the 2005/ 2006 budget of the Ministry of Electricity & Energy for the construction & revamping of 15 transformers stations. That includes the construction of 11 new stations & the revamping of other 4 existing stations. Scheme would add 2,975 MVA to the high & medium voltage net work apart from extending up to 600 Km of overhead power lines & underground cables. Scheme is to be implemented by EETC – Egyptian Electricity Transmission Co. |
