After almost 2 months of negotiations with Dubai based Eemar Group of the UAE, Egypt Minister of Investment has endorsed a $ 2 billion scheme of the group to occupy 4 million M2 land on Al Moqattam Hill. Scheme provides for Eemar to purchase that area, earlier offered by the government for sale, against L.E. 90 per M2 and invest the remaining amount in the construction of seven residential compounds, hotels, administrative houses, residential towers, hospitals, schools, mosques, golf play courts and related infrastructure. Scheme is scheduled for completion in 6 years. |
