Six bids were submitted to buy out 9,316 M2 Thomas Cook Land on Cairo Nile Cornich with a Qatari offer (from the Qatari Government) putting the highest price. Other offers came from Dr. Nasser Al Tayyar, a reputable Saudi investor, Kingdom Investment Company of Prince Al Waleed Ibn Talal, Semiramis Co. for Tourism and Hotels, Demac Real State Co. of the UAE and Nile City Co. a joint Saudi Egyptian entity. The land will obviously be used to build a unique high rise hotel tower thereon under L.E. 1 billion estimated investments. |
