Works are said to have started on L.E. 300 million project for the lighting of and linking Halayeb & Shalatin zone to the unified power grid starting from Al Naqra substation in Aswan. Project involves a 235-Km long, 220/66 kV overhead power transmission line. Project is for completion in 2 years time. Contractor for the project is Eleject Co. Meanwhile Eleject is now progressing with another 300 Km long 220 kV line extending from Oyoun Moussa power station to Sharm El Sheikh passing by tourist villages in Southern Sinai. |
