According to Dr. Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim Soliman, Minister of Housing & Utilities, German funding arranged for water & waste water projects in Kafr El Sheikh & Alexandria. He revealed that the KfW – German Bank for Reconstruction would extend Euro 33 million to part finance a sanitary drainage project to serve 15 villages in Kafr El Sheikh Governorate going under Euro 60 million total costs. He added the Bank would also finance another sanitary drainage project in El Amriya, Alexandria of 50,000 M3/ day capacity going under L.E. 420 million costs for completion in 36 months. |
