KfW - German Bank for Reconstruction has endorsed the equivalent of L.E. 33 million soft loan to part finance sanitary drainage projects at 15 villages in Kafr Al Sheikh Governorate. Total estimated project costs are put at Euro 60 million. That was announced by Minister of Housing & Utilities, Dr. Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim Soliman, indicating that KfW would also back another sanitary drainage project in Amriya, Alexandria, of 50,000 M3/ day capacity via another Euro 65 million contribution. The L.E. 420 million project is scheduled for completion in 36 months. |
