Telecom Egypt has awarded a contract to Siemens Group (of Germany) to install 115,350 new (stationary) telephone lines to extend four telephone exchanges in Nasr City (Exchanges No. 1, 2, 3 & 4), in Cairo. Telecom Egypt said the development aims at reducing waiting lists & overcome bottlenecks in Nasr City. N.B. Since 1980 Siemens Egypt has supplied and installed 1.8 million telephone lines for Telecom Egypt. |
