L.E. 17 million budget funds were endorsed to extend Sohag Cancer Treatment Center. Director General of the Center, Dr. Med. Hassan Abdel Monem Abdalla, announced that the extension would be executed on 2,000 M2 land to host a three floors building, outpatients’ clinics, the engineering dept. & the warehouses. Construction costs are about L.E. 7 million with the remaining L.E. 10 million allocated for the procurement of equipment & instruments. Worth indicating is that the Center was inaugurated in May 1999 and is uniquely serving Upper Egypt Governorates. |
