| Description | According to Dr. Samir Farag, Mayor of Luxor City, works are to soon start on L.E. 50 million project to rescue Al Karnak Temple from underground water risks backed by a USAID grant. Project designs & plans were recently completed by a Swedish consultant. Project, to also provide for extending sanitary drainage networks to cover the area to the east of the temple, is scheduled for completion in 18 months. |
