| Description | Request for proposals to establish at NREA a laboratory for testing energy efficiency of home appliances in 3 lots under funding from UNDP, as part of the EEIGGR - Energy Efficiency Improvement & Greenhouse Gas Reduction Project. It consists of establishing an accredited energy efficiency laboratory as an independent facility to perform energy efficiency testing & certification of three most market penetrated appliances in Egypt. That extends to air conditioners, refrigerators & washing machines to be tested in accordance with the Egyptian Energy Efficiency Mandatory standards. Lab consists of 3 facilities [ lots ] : Lot 1 : Air conditioners test facility up to 65,000 BTU/ hour according to ISO 5151/ 94 which is compatible to Egyptian standards 3795/ 2002. Lot 2 : Refrigerators & freezers testing facility up to 1,100 liters for refrigerators & 850 liters for freezers according to ISO 5155/ 94, ISO 8187 & ISO 8561 compatible to Egyptian standards 3794/ 2002. Lot 3 : Test facility for washing machines [ automatic, half automatic & automatic with dryers ] according to IEC 60456 compatible with Egyptian standards 4100/ 2003.
