| Description | According to General Said Qotb, Secretary General of North Sinai Governorate, the Supreme Investment Committee (of the Governorate) under Chairmanship of Governor Mr. Ahmed Abdel Hamid, has licensed a $ 43 million project to produce silicon alloys. Project will benefit from huge glass & silica sand resources in the area. According to Mr. Qotb, the project would occupy 80,000 M2 land & generate 150 employment opportunities.
