| Description | According to Egypt Minister of Transport, Dr. Eng. Essam Sharef, ENR - Egyptian National Railways Authority, in cooperation with the Red Sea Governorate, are now evaluating a project to extend Qena / Safaga railway line by about 60 Km to reach Hurghada City under L.E. 265 million estimated investments. Project provides for the use of that extension for tourist transport. So far the Qena / Safaga line is used for cargo transport. |
