| Description | A report released recently by the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology & quoted in the media predicted Egypt to dispose on 16 million stationary telephone lines capacity in 3 years, up from 11.8 million lines by the end of September 2004. Meanwhile, subscribers to those stationary lines, now put at 9.35 million, are projected to increase to 12 million by 2007. That would increase their density from 13.5 % at present to 17 %. |
